The annual Lions' Club Shrimp Festival 2014 kicked off in Fort Myers Beach on Saturday, March 8th, and was one of the best Shrimp Festivals Florida has ever seen. The 2014 Shrimp Festival started at 10:00 am with a two-mile long parade that marched down the center of Fort Myers Beach's own Estero Boulevard. The parade went from from Fort Myers Beach elementary school to Lynn Hall Park.

And then, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., patrons of the festival enjoyed the famous Lion's Club shrimp dinners, each made from shrimp caught locally by Fort Myers Beach shrimp fisherman. Patrons were able to enjoy many other local artisan booths featuring arts, crafts and other fine local cuisine. This year, there was over 100 different vendors selling their wares

January Sales Reduce Inventory Further

Naples, Fla. (February 14, 2014) - Sales in the luxury condo market soared as shown by a 70 percent increase in closed sales in the $2 million+ category and an increase of 40 percent in the $1 million - $2 million category for 12-months ending January 2014. Demand for luxury condos is strong as evidenced by a 29 percent reduction in inventory in the $2 million+ category and a 17 percent reduction in inventory in the $1 million - $2 million category, according to the January 2014 Market Report released by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), which tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island).

Naples Real Estate MarketNaples, Fla. (September 20, 2013) - The Naples area real estate market continues to see its median home price shift upward for the 14th consecutive month according to a report released by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), which tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island). The median home price has been on a steady incline from $175,000 in December 2011 to $229,000 in August 2013.
