Will a new house for the speaker mean a new Speaker for the House? Congressional Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner (Ohio) recently purchased a new condo in Tampico at Cape Marco on the exclusive residential Marco Island off of the west coast of Florida. Marco Island is part of the Naples metropolitan area and is home to many other famous individuals. The Boehner family has frequented the Naples region as a vacation spot for many years, but now the Ohio representative has actually made a condo purchase to avert renting a residence during down time.

Naples, Fla. (September 20, 2013) - The Naples area real estate market continues to see its median home price shift upward for the 14th consecutive month according to a report released by the Naples Area Board of REALTORS® (NABOR®), which tracks home listings and sales within Collier County (excluding Marco Island). The median home price has been on a steady incline from $175,000 in December 2011 to $229,000 in August 2013.
